Collect relief supplies
To continue supporting our projects , we can make excellent use of relief goods! We have made a shopping list of everything we can use.
You can buy these items yourself but also, should you be at your vet or shopping at a pet store, ask them if there might be any pet supplies left over. To show that it is for Wings for Animals, we can provide you with a flyer.
Flight personnel can drop things off at the Crew Center in the WOS depot, and others can drop us an email.
Join the Facebook group ‘ I’m going on a trip and will be taking…’
KLM Flight crew can join the private KLM Facebook group ‘Ik ga op reis en neem mee‘. Here, colleagues exchange tips on where to take that or where they need stuff. You can also find projects here where we have already been and should you have them on your roster, you can also go here to help.
Become a one-time or regular donor
Of course, you can become a donor to Wings for Animals. You can do this through our donation form and online banking with various options. You can determine the amount of your (one-off or monthly) donation yourself and of course you are able to stop the donation at any time.
Wing for Animals is a Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling (ANBI), which means that we meet strict requirements and donations to us are tax deductible in the Netherlands.
And of course: all proceed go directly to the cause, no overhead!
Help raise funds

Veterinarian, veterinary assistant or just mega animal lover?
Anyone can, of course, assist our projects. Going on holiday and want to do something for animals? Check out our projects on the website, who knows, there might be a project at your holiday destination.
Taking things with you, giving the animals the necessary attention and/or putting your shoulders to the wheel always results in nice topics, which we then share on our social media.
If you are a veterinarian or veterinary assistant and would like to help with one of our sterilisation campaigns, please let us know!

Become a clothing container manager
Collecting old clothes, textiles and shoes is a small gesture, but worth a lot to animals in need. Wings for Animals receives an average of €300 a year through Dierenlot on the contents of 1 container.
- Find a destination for the container:
Containers are best placed covered, and where gates close at closing time. Think of schools, garden centres, companies… Explain to management how important this container is (old clothes and shoes raise money via Dierenlot for Wings for Animals, processing clothes is sustainable, the container is good for the image of the company/school) - Contact Dierenlot to let them know we would like to place another container . - Contact the company A&F Trading, they will arrange for the container to be brought and emptied each time.
Nathalie de Goede: degoede@aenftrading.nl - Stay in touch with the company or school if the container starts to get full . This can be done by mail, telephone or whatsapp.
- When the container is almost full, send an email to Nathalie from A&F Trading with the address of the container. It is then often emptied within a week .
Collect packaging receipts
Visit a supermarket in your area to ask if the packaging vouchers can be saved for Wings for Animals for a month. We have a special flyer they can put up at the glass and plastic collection.
