DARG is a pro-life, non-profit organization that rescues, cares for, sterilizes and relocates abused, neglected and abandoned cats and dogs.  DARG offers a crucial role for the communities of Imizamo Yethu, Hangberg and the larger Hout Bay region.

Located on a large plot in Hout Bay, Western Cape, DARG provides shelter for animals by housing an extensive cat garden, cat shelter, indoor and outdoor kennels as well as indoor spaces for those animals in treatment or rehabilitation. 

It is a great experience to go for a walk with their dogs with a view on the Tafelberg. It is also very nice to bring a visit the the garden where the cats can walk around freely, where you can comb and pet them.

Wings for Animals has made financial donations several times and brought animal supplies to this great project.  In addition to a number of colleagues, DARG was also visited by a family who became familiar with DARG through our Facebook page.
