Project Street Dogs Thailand Foundation is an organization that focuses on stray animals in need in Hua Hin Thailand.
Their objective is to reduce the stray population in Thailand through sterilization and to relieve them as much as possible from pain, itching and hunger. Where possible they look for a new home for both puppy’s/kittens and adult dogs and cats in Thailand (and abroad).
Volunteers look after the stray animals and feed them every day. With the help of local vets, not only dogs but also cats are sterilized and receive the necessary medical care.
Wings for Animals has had a good collaboration with this beautiful foundation from the beginning and has virtually adopted dog Bob. He now lives with a Saved Souls, a sister project of PST, in the north of Thailand. You can read Bob’s story here.
Trap, neuter, return (TNR). The only way to reduce stray animal suffering! With veterinairs Piet Hellemans and Jolande van den Broek we flew to Thailand for a sterilization action in collaboration with Project Street Dogs Thailand and People & Animals Thailand!
A big thanks to WWAR, Stichting Wereldhonden, Juultje Oomen and everyone who donated for this project and the rabies vaccinations!
Of course the journey and the accommodation we pay ourselves…
