Trap – Neuter – Release – Manage Malaysia is a project aimed at castrate and sterilize street dogs and cats to prevent unwanted newborn puppies and kittens .
With the help of Stuart and Rizam TNRM Malaysia , Wings for Animals caught several cats around our crew hotel and took them to the vet Preventicare Veterinary Clinic for sterilisation.
Every day, these cats beg for food at the crewhotel restaurant . Since they are fed and not sterilized, the number will keep increasing. After sterilisation and recovery, we brought the cats back to ‘their home’ as soon as possible. This is better for the cats because they know their environment. But since they also defend their environment, this is the solution to keep non-sterile cats out of the hotel environment. So the number of stray cats will remain the same for now and eventually decrease by continuing to apply TNRM.
Because animals cannot always be put back on the streets, TNRM also has a cat and dog shelter. Of course, we also like to take all sorts of things in our suitcases for TNRM, stuff like anti-parasite and eye ointment they can put to good use.
