Wings for Animals on Social Media
Of course, Wings for Animals can also be found on Social Media like Facebook and Instagram. There we share fun stories and photos, but also highlight a less fun thing: animal suffering. To really stay informed, you can subscribe to our quarterly newsletter.

Behind the scenes at Wings for Animals, thereโs always a lot going on. Supplies are collected, sorted and packed before making their way to animal organisations at our destinations. From food and medication to medical supplies, every suitcase can make a difference. Recently, our cockpit colleagues Froukje and Michelle brought much needed supplies to @suriname_wildlife_sanctuary. Specialised food and medical equipment were delivered for the animals in their care, including these beautiful birds. ๐ฆ๐@asociacioncat.miau in Spain also received another shipment of supplies. Our project leader Arnold took them along and delivered everything safely to the shelter.A large part of what we bring with us is generously donated. Veterinarians provide us with medication and medical equipment, while @stichtingdierenlot, @wwarfoundation and @maxizoo.nl also support us with food and other essential supplies. Our colleague Jo took on the task of sorting and organising a large amount of donated medication. As you can see, itโs quite a job! By carefully checking and sorting everything, we can make sure we know exactly what can travel with us and where it is needed most.Once everything is sorted, the suitcases are packed and handed over to our crew members, who take them with them on their journeys. โ๏ธ๐It may happen behind the scenes, but every donation, every suitcase and every journey helps us support animals in need. ๐
