The Domestic Animal Rescue Group is a pro-life, non-profit organization that rescues, cares for, sterilizes and re-homes abused, neglected and abandoned cats and dogs. DARG provides a crucial role for the communities of Imizamo Yethu, Hangberg and the greater Hout Bay region.
Located on a large lot in Hout Bay, Western Cape, DARG provides shelter for animals by housing an extensive cat garden, cat shelter, indoor and outdoor kennel areas as well as indoor spaces for those animals in treatment or rehabilitation.
Going for a walk with their dogs with a beautiful view of Table Mountain is a great experience. It is also great fun to visit the garden where the cats are free to roam, where you can comb and pet them.
Wings for Animals has already made several financial donations to and brought animal supplies to this beautiful project. In addition to several colleagues, DARG has also been visited by vacationers who became familiar with DARG through us.
