Wings for Animals is committed to helping animals in need worldwide. We focus on two main areas: wildlife and stray animals.
In the field of wildlife, we collaborate with recognised organisations such as the Jane Goodall Institute and Wildlife Friends Foundation. We promote awareness about endangered species, responsible tourism and offer assistance with nature and poaching issues.
For stray animals we support shelter and sterilisation projects, provide medical assistance and provide information about responsible pet ownership.
Our approach is based on collaboration with reliable local initiatives, which we visit in person. We contribute through financial support, transport of relief goods and medicines, and collaboration with veterinarians.
What makes us unique is that, thanks to our work as KLM flight crew, we can can visit projects worldwide and directly contribute to animal welfare at location. This enables us also to deliver medical and other relief supplies in person.
Wildlife
Wings for Animals cooperates with a number of wildlife management organisations and supports them financially, such as the Jane Goodall Institute, Jakarta Animal Aid Network, Wildlife Friends Foundation, Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary.This collaboration provides knowledge and a greater reach which ultimately also contributes to the reduction of animal suffering.

We focus on two main areas, namely wildlife and stray animals & pets. We cooperate exclusively with reliable local initiatives and all projects are personally visited by our volunteers.
Stray animals & Pets
Thanks to the unique position in which we find ourselves in our work, we are able to visit shelters and sterilisation centres worldwide during our KLM flights. We support them with medical supplies such as medicines, vitamins and equipment. Thanks to donors and sponsors, our volunteers can effectively help and protect animals.
