Worldwide Support for Animals in Need

Wings for Animals, founded in 2015 by KLM cabin crew, aims to prevent animal suffering worldwide as well as raise awareness of abuses against animals.

Jakarta Animal Aid Network

Jakarta Animal Aid Network, also known as JAAN, was founded in February 2008 by Femke den Haas, Karin Franken and Natalie Stewart as a central place where people can contact/report animal abuse or find information about animal welfare in Indonesia.

JAAN operates solely on donations from individuals and receives no financial support from the government.
Jakarta Animal Aid Network is divided into 2 sections; Domestic and Wildlife Rescue.
Domestic welfare includes everything we do to help pets, for example dog and cat adoptions, the Dog Meat Free Indonesia campaign, our cat sterilization campaigns and emergency rescues.
Wildlife Rescue includes all the cases we handle related to primates, dolphins, tigers, orangutans and more. For example, our “Save Dennis” campaign or our regular research and data collection to try to end the illegal wildlife trade.

How do we cooperate with this wildlife organisation?
Among other things, we have contributed to the release of three dolphins and supported the construction of a large aviary for wild birds and adopt two monkeys rescued from the tourist industry every month.
