Because of a passenger on board on one of our flights, we became familiar with Animals Rescue Shanghai.

This foundation, just outside of Shanghai, is dedicated to save dumped animals.  Many animals are ‘impulse purchase’ in pet stores.  People have no idea what the care is for the purchased animal and often they are dumped somewhere so that the “problem” is solved. Shanghai Animals Rescue takes care of these animals, offers them medical help and try to find them a new home. Many colleagues visited SAR with of course the necessary needed supplies.

Wings for Animals was also committed to dog Zhuang Zhuang (which means “strong”).  This shepherd was emaciated and found more dead than alive in August 2018. After the good care of SAR, this sweetheart has become a beautiful healthy dog ​​again and has been adopted. Look at his amazing transformation here.
